This organisation linked Italian, Turkish, Palestinian, Chilean and other migrant communities who wanted to support Aboriginal campaigns for land and justice.

South Africa + Zimbabwe

Tranby took a strong stand against Apartheid and colonialism in South Africa and Zimbabwe because the issues were the same in Australia. So there were many meetings and visits with key figures in the struggle against racism in Africa.

Religion

Tranby recognised that some religious groups were trying to fight against racism and injustice. Tranby built links with them to educate them about Aboriginal goals.

Welcoming spaces
